My three most essential makeup brushes

Somebody asked me today what my top three favorite makeup brushes were and I had to give this question some thought. I would have to say that all three would have to be eye makeup brushes just because you need such a high degree of precision around the eye area. For foundation and powder I can easily use a flocked sponge or my fingers to blend but in the ey area this just simply is not possible.

So therefore, my 3 most essential eye makeup brushes are...

  1. A pencil thin eye liner brush for drawing a neat line along my lashes.
  2. A thick and stiff brush for applying dark well defined blocks of color. This is great for dark and dramatic looks where you want sharp lines instead of softly blending your eyeshadow.
  3. Finally, I would need a brush with soft bristles for blending my shadows and smoothing out the edges of my eyelids.

I Am Low Carbing Again

I really should re-read the Atkins book before starting. do I want to jump into full on induction phase eating 20 carbs or less a day, or acclimatize myself? I dont know. I think I lived on t-bone steak, cream cheese celery and macadamia nuts the first time. Blah

Friends are annoying

Why didn't they mention it? I really hate Kara and Lillie sometimes. They tell the rudest jokes and then Kara tries to act all innocent. I feel thoughtless this evening. Currently watching the winter olympics opening ceremony on tv.

Random Stuff

Watched the 'Who Wants To Be Embarrased On National TV By Regis Philbin?' pilot. Is anybody else really panicky about this? My tenant came by earlier to sign a new lease for another two years. So this space is a diary of how my life is going to change. I've also been surf shopping for eyebrow regrowth products for my thin eyebrows. Still looking though since everything seems so expensive, especially so soon after the holidays.

Very Tired Today

Maybe it's snowing outside, I can't really tell. I guess I'm really tired. I feel gross since we've just moved to Madison because the new job sucks a lot of late hours. I don't know.

Minneapolis Star Tribune Interview

Sherman Chapey: That sounds like a substandard occupation. How is the recession changing your life? Miss Marsha Malone: It’s forcing us to change our lifestyle. My partner Dale’s employer, Stephanie Trautmann Amalgamated in Flyut is struggling to stay in business and we have had to auction off our home in Eflacer. The BMW SUV has been exchanged for a more economical model and we’ve reduced our evenings at the bar.

weather

It's raining in such a way that I'm truly glad it isn't snow. Today was glorious. I went to see my parents in Boston, and gave mum her fixed laptop and a shiny (and I mean silver!) small green mp3 player. Spent most of the day, with breaks for lunch and to mind Pop's calls about how he couldn't work out how to update software on his own computer. On the other hand, I didnt really think my eyelashes were that short, until everyone began using lilash!! Looks like it works, but I'd be interested to know how long it requires for them to return to normal.  Are there any detailed lilash ... (read more)

First Post

Mama's not an entire computer novice but she might as well be; she's easily frightened by computers. I also wanted her to love Hulu, but as I've never used the website myself, I couldn't quite figure out how to look at it, so rather I showed her how to search for How To websites. Teach a man to fish, and so on ....
